"Why is it always the knife?"
--Our waitress yesterday at lunch at Liberty Diner, as my steak knife slipped off the plate and fell on the table.
I'm sure that there's probably a logical reason (possibly because of the additional weight of the handle, or because the fork and spoon are better balanced) but it DOES seem that it's always the knife.
Don't know what it means...but it's something to ponder.
