Big Shoes....Big Feet. (Or, Life In The Bowling Lane.)

Last night was the first Lebowski Fest night at Georgetown Bowl.....Let's just say that Dick Weber's legacy is fully intact (although I managed to eke out a 100+ game once out of five games.) You can't beat the deal, though.....open bowling from 9-midnight, all the pizza you can eat (and good pizza at that) and three drinks for 15 bucks. Hell, I can eat and drink 15 bucks worth in three hours...so it's like going to a pizza place and getting the bowling for free (which again, if you saw Cliff and me on the lanes, is about what it was worth.)

No-Love Thursday tonight....I may or may not attend. Still have that free pass for "Walk The Line", and I might try to go this afternoon/evening..... I think seeing the movie version of Johnny Cash's life is an acceptable substitute for the NLT gang....in fact, between the drinking, drug use, loud music and performing, it might be THE substitute. We'll see if both activities can be attended successfully......

The mahogany bar is at 550 (?) West Main...between 500 West Main (SCAN) and 600 West Main (the News-Sentinel.) 4 bells starts the trickle....5 bells starts the flood. Although many weeks, 6 bells is the optimum time to go--you see most of both the early and late crowd that way.

The rugby bar is where lingerie adorns the lighting.

The mahogany bar bears the name of its founder, the original Hank Freistroffer, and has a (relatively) unfounded reputation for being the kind of place where certain kinds of dolphins might be sighted. I prefer to think of it as the newspaper bar, as well as being representative of the West Central neighborhood, both of which are located next door.

Henry's. From 4 on. Be there. Aloha.

The lovely and talented Mrs. JQP just dropped off some Gay Dolphin gifts....all were greatly appreciated on this dark and mournful day, if i may cop a line from Simon and Garfunkel. I was in sort of a gar-funkel myself....and the trinkets helped. Thanks, J.

Sadly, still no nudie pictures....yet....

Nolff?? Get-er-done.....

It-,

I know you were trying to be covert...but you kept swinging between the literal and the frivolous....so I figured I would be explicit in my detail.

Seize ya at NLT....
